Kendra is honored to work at Family Hope House. She loves the way FHH works together, how they support each other, and how they genuinely like to be together. She says the staff loves to learn and is continuously looking for ways to be better at what they do in order to serve FHH’s amazing families best.

Kendra wants others to know that Family Hope House is truly a place of hope. She is constantly amazed at the work being done at FHH and the commitment it’s therapists and staff have to their clients. Family Hope House provides not only therapy but education and support to its families. The therapists at FHH are passionate about equipping their families to grow and thrive.

Kendra utilizes experiential play therapy and client-centered play, as well as several other methods based on the needs of her clients. She believes that clients develop and change within the family system and works with that system to facilitate stronger attachments and healing for the client and family. She is a lifelong learner and is always looking for the next training to attend or book to read in order to add to her clinical skills.

Kendra enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, playing with her dogs, and reading. She plays the flute in a community band, and her family is actively involved in a local church.
